I don't know how right I am........but here's how I do it and I have lost weight so I must be doing something right

I just take it and split it like this....I take the total time of the workout and divide it:

    25% of time as Judo/Karate/Kickboxing
25% of time as Aerobics low impact
25% of time as Aerobics high impact
    25% of time stretching

But ummmmm an HRM would be your best bet. See how many it says you burn and then find something that shows similar amounts of calories burned for the amount of time of the workout :flowerforyou:

Sorry I can't be more helpful. This is how I do it....but I'm definately not an expert. embarrassed.gif

I just go to caloriesperhour.com under their "activity calculator". You can choose tae bo moderate, vigorous, or very vigorous and then you get to type in your weight and how long you did it for & calculate how many calories you've burned.

I do tae bo amped and I put it under judo kickboxing thing and when I went to this website and entered it under moderate( which the amped version is hardly moderate) I actually burn about 100 calories more than what this site says.
I am just going to invest in a HRM that way I am postive as to what I am burning.

    Thanks for the site :)
