Why is it that after we have had the biggest meal of the day, do we think of nothing else, but heading for the fridge or the pantry for sweet or salty snacks,, Is it just HABIT????:explode:

Sometimes I crave desserts, other times wine... and sometimes nothing at all. Have no idea why! You have a really gorgeous kitchen, by the way!! I love the wood wall... is that cedar?

I believe it is just boredom! And habit. I graze. Even if I just ate, because nothing else is going on, so I fill my time with munching on snacks.

I think its boredom too, and I crave everything that I dont need. I try to do a little exercise and by the time I get out the shower I am to tired to think about eating.

From some of what I have read, we do not eat our meals properly, taking time to chew each mouth full and waiting between courses to eat the next round. The body needs time to know it is full and when we woof down our food that does not happen. Would love to hear if that is even close or what is the real reason as it happens to me all the time......wait 20 minutes before going and you may not have the craving any more.

It definitely is a habit... I severely battle with night time sweets....
I suggest trying to "close" your kitchen down and try not eating after 8p. Try non caffeinated drinking tea as a night cap. It's hard, but I know I personally feel so much better the next morning when I can make it happen.
