    Why not log while on vacation?

    Unfortunately, there's no easy way. I've been on 2 cruises since joining MFP and I've lost my logging streak because I like to disconnect from the virtual world while on vacation. I've had some friends who have shared their password with friends who login on their behalf. I've also heard that you can contact MFP and they can reset your tracker (don't know if that's true though).

    "Pause" kind of defeats the purpose of log-streaks, doesn't it? It's kind of like that kid who would always call time-out just before getting tagged. If you aren't able to log in while on vacation, so what? It means you are unplugged and having fun on vacation. To quote Aaron Rodgers, "R-E-L-A-X, Relax." Just do you and roll with it. Nobody is going to judge you...unless you admit you were that kid during tag.....then I will probably judge a little bit but nothing more than a strained look of disappointment.

    I feel your pain...this is my first log streak 80plus days...and I am a little sad it's going to end this week when we head to Punta Cana...but I will drown my sadness on the beautiful beach with a drink in my hand. Have fun, enjoy your vacation, come home and get back to business on day 1 :)

    @wendydelong

    Have a MFP friend log into your account daily and keep your fingers crossed that they don't use it to Catfish or Sext anyone.

    I never thought the log in streak was that big of a deal...yay...I logged into a websit...whoopty friggin' dooo. My log in streak has no bearing on my health and fitness.

    Sadly not... It's not a big deal though. Just some internet points; it doesn't really mean anything.

    I get the desire to keep your streak alive. .but if you can't you can't. . It's one more source of stress that seems unnecessary to me. . If I had a streak like some I've seen ("1280 days!"). .I think I would lie awake at night worrying some MFP glitch would erase my streak or something .

    My longest streak is 5 days. I don't go on line on the weekends.

    Don't worry about the streak. It's just e-points like Jams said. I lost mine of about 200 days last weekend when I left the country on a vacation. No biggie, just start again.

    but it really shouldn't...particularly worrying about it over just enjoying a nice vacation.
