Vivosmart HR users: Swimming

Hey guys,
So I decided to take my Vivosmart HR for a swim, as one of the perks of the watch as that you could swim with it. Mine did not enjoy the experience.
For about an hour I was convinced I had killed it as it was turning off and on. I finally got it to work again and it seems to have settled, although it wiped its memory. Will see how it goes.
Long story short, will not be taking it anywhere near water again.

That's a major bummer since I assumed I could wear mine swimming once the warm weather hits.0

Oh no! That is a major bummer...I'm heading to the beach in a few weeks and was planning on wearing it while swimming. Will have to rethink. I wear mine in the shower all the time and it's fine....bummed.0

It seems to be working okay a day later, the only thing that's changed is that the light now is busted I guess I can live with that0
