Today is day 11 and when I weighed myself on day 7 I had already lost 7lbs! I'm really proud of myself but I have a long journey ahead of me. Does anyone have any suggestions for the days when you're just not feeling motivated?

    Just keep in mind that no one is perfect. You just have to force yourself and visualize yourself obtaining your goals.

    this is not about one day or seven days or seventy days. You are building the foundation of a healthy future that includes nurturing foods and special occasion foods. You are remodeling yourself as an adaptable human.

    Congrats, Cole! Good work!

    I schedule in exercise as if it's an appt... I wouldn't deliberately miss a dentist or dr's appt, so why miss working out? It's an appt for me. Once I begin, I'm glad I have... that's my motivation... the emotional boost to my mood.

    Also, occasionally I'll exceed calories having fun, but I need to have a life, too. Today I'll be having b'day pizza & have taken the day off from exercise. But, instead of 1/2 pizza or taking home leftovers, I'll have 2 slices & skip the beer... that's my trade off. I might exceed calories by a few, but it's my b'day! Sunday... back to normal exercise & eating.

    Well done on your 7-lb weight loss! Now that's motivating!

    Awe happy early bday!!! That's great advice! I tried on a pair of jeans that were really right before and now they fit nice..NOW THATS MOTIVATION! Haha
