What is your recommendation for most filling dinner out about 600 calories. I have 800 left for the day and need some left for a snack :)

I love the classic meat/rice/veg/salad combo.

I make up a salad of spring mix, cherry tomatoes, cut up bell peppers, cucumber, and avocado if I have the spare calories for it. The dressing is a home made balsamic (vinegar, oil, honey, salt).

Then I either sautee veggies in soy sauce mixed with rice vinegar (zucchini, onion, eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, broccoli, carrots...) and toss in chickpeas if I need the calories, or bake asparagus in the oven with oil and salt and pepper.

Then a meat like chicken (fave new recipe: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/spicy-honey-brushed-chicken-thighs), or salmon with lemon and dill, or pork tenderloin (http://www.slenderkitchen.com/recipe/sunday-slow-cooker-balsamic-brown-sugar-pork-tenderloin).

And a serving of white jasmine rice, sometimes mixed with pieces of vermicelli noodles that my boyfriend fries in coconut oil.

Usually I'm so full I can't finish the salad :)

S sounds great but I do not cook much. I was asking if there is something I can eat out. I may try Applebee's or TGI Fridays as I think they have stop 600 calorie or less options. Thank you though for the feedback

I love a good steak with a salad instead of potatoes... Usually comes to around 600 and tastes fantastic!
