I decided to make some life changes about 5 months ago after going in for a liver biopsy and a bunch of heart test. At that point I weighed about 176 and am about 5'6". I know its only 30lbs over what I should have been but it was causing a lot of serious probs. I had a serious case of fatty liver which would have caused cirrhosis, also had heart probs, and was on bp meds at 27. The doc told me that if they find any signs of cirrhosis during the biopsy that I should start thinking about getting on a donor list. My doc explained everything that will very soon happen to me and I was so scared that something finally clicked in my head. About five months later I went in for all the blood work and all my scores dropped like crazy.

Cholesteral:299-233
ast (liver enzym):53-23
alt (liver enzym):113-25
my resting heart rate is about 15-20 beats lower

I started MFP at 171 lbs and now weigh in at 154 lbs It was the best feeling ever to see those results. Below is a photo taken on Feb 19th and the other was taken a couple days ago I dont see a huge difference but I do see improvements. I think its just my head cause everyone is noticing. My new goal weight is going to be 145 which Im trying to hit by September. Im not to sure if im going to make it there in two months cause Im going to have to do more than I have been doing in the past 5 months. I work two jobs and its been really hard to fit what im already doing in to my schedule. I think the only chance I will have to make it is if I really focus on what im putting in to my body.

SORRY MIGHT HAVE SHOT A LITTLE TO LOW (LOL)

Outstanding job troop!! Keep it up and stay focused. Just remember not to get scared to up your cals in a healthy way once you get to your GW. Alot of people freak about adding cals after staying so low for so long.
Also, depending on your two jobs for an extra boost to your fat loss add in TWO or THREE. Rounds of tabata burpees three days a week and I promise you that will kick your losses up a bit. Good luck and congrats

Do you have a specific routine for the burpees and how long?

    Thanks for the advice!
