Ugh! I'm here b/c I've maintained with 10 lb gain that's now creeping up to 15. I find ice cream goes down easily and got into the habit of eating s bowl every night!! It got way out of control !! How is it going for you?

I have become an insomniac in the last year so tend to eat during those hours and was not exercising. I also stopped paying too close attention to what I ate and not logging. So... here I am. I also began my post wls nightly habit of eating pb&j. Logging again, committed to an exercise plan. Two weeks end. Dropping inches again but only 1 lb. lose Grrrr...

What are you doing for excercises? I'm starting with arm toning - I don't know Boit you but I have a lot of excess skin on my arms since lifting 90 lbs. Also 2 miles on treadmill every day if I can.

Originally i did not have a lot of excess skin it was shrinking but since my weight gain i have noticed some. Especially my thighs. I had lost a lot of muscle but the weight i gained came back as fat.
Right now i am doing treadmill and stationary bike 3 nights a week with some weights for upper body and go on DailyBurn for stretches, yoga and core work 2-3x on off days. I try to work out at least 40 mins. I hate exercising so this is as much as i can take. But im thinking of joining a local softball and volleyball team. I prefer that too working out. Lol alone my dog decided to join me in my stretches last night. That was interesting. Lol.

Sure, what hurts me also i havent had much in the way of support. I think we have is easier when we have someone somewhere that makes us accountable. If that makes sense.

Hi! I had an RNY in 2007. Lost 160 lbs and just in the last year I have regained 35 lbs so I am here to food and exercise log - which really helped in the first years. I think my weight gain is a combination of hormonal/metabolism changes and work/commute stress eating. Tools I am using? Food logging increases my eating mindfulness - like most of us I was an emotional eater and I concerned I am slipping into those patterns again (which creates anxiety!!). I am not much into exercise - walking is built into my day and if anything a relaxation yoga class does me more good than most things. I am seriously considering weightlifting - a sport I enjoyed at one time ... gaining muscle mass boosts my metabolism and the older I get the more it slows. :)
