I have been starting my diet for like 3 months now. My biggest problem is eating healthy. I always go for the unhealthy foods mostly sugar. Sometimes im not even in the mood for it but i will eat it anyways and then i feel like the whole day is wasted anyways and continue eating like crap the whole rest of the day and say "ill start tomorrow" and it is a vicious cycle. I think that once i get into the swing of things i will become more in the habit of healthy eating. So a little about me, i am 23 years old, 5'6" and 216 pounds. 4 years ago i lost a lot of weight and ate super healthy. I got down to 112 which wasnt healthy at all. So i started just eating whatever to gain weigjt and here i am, fat at 216 pounds. Im looking for any advice/tips/motivation to get myself going. I do see a trainer at the gym twice a week and it almost seems like a waste of money since i cant seem to gt the healthy diet going along with it and therefore havent lost any weight although i do feel stronger. Pleasr help!! Thanks in advance:)

I've found that failing to prepare is preparing to fail... so my goal is to be prepared for the day ahead. I drink a smoothie every morning, which is really helpful because when I wake up, my instinct is to have a sugary cereal, but since I already have the ingredients and the blender is clean and on the counter, it's much easier to follow through with my plan. My breakfast smoothie contains: a cup(ish) of orange juice, handful of frozen fruit, a scoop of whey protein powder, a scoop of Axe Naturals Green Superfood, and a squirt of honey. I sometimes throw in a few clumps of frozen chopped kale. I pack a snack baggie of pistachios and sunflower seeds for when I'm hungry mid-morning for a healthy snack (bonus! protein!). I'm still working on a lunch and dinner routine, but my breakfast routine is pretty solid, so I'm pretty happy with my progress so far
Checking labels is really important. I'm not really good at it yet, but I don't buy anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup. If I don't even have it in the house, I'm not likely to eat it.2 -
I agree with the post above.. if you are not prepared it is super easy just to eat anything. I have my meals planned out the night before (I basically eat the same things everyday, so that is easy). Also start small.. make little goals everyday and remember it takes 2 weeks to detox sugar out of your body.. it's a tough 2 weeks. . I lost 100 pounds 2 years ago and have kept it off so I know what you are going thru. You can do this.. it might also help to count your macros to make sure you are getting enough protein. I find this easier then counting calories.0
