I want to try indoor rock climbing. I think it would be fun and a good way to get a full body workout. Has anyone tried it and if so how was it ?

I haven't but I have a couple friends from nursing school who are really into it. Not only do they love it for how fun it is, but their arms and backs look great. They make me want to try it!

It's amazing, challenging, & so much fun! Great if you can get a buddy to do it with you so once you've learned all the technique & skill you can go off & do it together on your own time. Consider getting into yoga as well because flexibility counts when going for those hard to reach nooks. Happy climbing!

Its awesome, I prefer bouldering (climbing without all the ropes) which is obviously a lot safer indoors. Go for it you'll love it.

One of my major fitness goals right now is to get into climbing shape! It's great fun and really feels like an achievement. Plus climbers are great people (fun, relaxed, generally good to be around), so that's nice. It's not s. Easy sport if you're bottom heavy, but still doable (hence me working on upper body strength before I get back up there.)

I am starting to do push-ups to work on my upper body strength first as well. It just looks like fun and something I can do. I am thinking about getting a trampoline as well and getting a work out with that as well. I just don't want to get out there and try and experience new things. Go white water rafting again, mountain biking etc

Get into it! You won't regret it. I started in the gym and now I get outside and had some amazing adventures.
