Here again and disgusted with myself

I was here in '11 and pushed myself and lost the weight (was down to 111 lbs) and was feeling fit. And then of course, I had a life crisis. One after another. Kind of gave up on everything, started eating for comfort (something I had NEVER done) and now weigh 134. The last time I weighed this much I was pregnant, 18 years ago. Keep in mind I am only 5'2". And being 45 doesn't help.

So I went to my doc and cried. She took some blood work and we decided it is safe for me to use a very low calorie plan for at least 4-8 weeks.

If you never leave, you don't have to come back.

well... being that i'm 5'1" and currently at 148 lbs... you're doing pretty good in my opinion.. the day I gave birth to my son I was at 160, dropped 30 lbs and then seemed to (in the course of 5yrs) have gained majority of it back.. before i was pregnant i weighed around 115-125lbs fluctuating frequently. I'm here for you if you want to add me as a friend for support!

I can only dream of being 145, I'm currently just under twice that at about 276. Mind you I am 6' and 56 years old. Have faith in yourself and in the MFP system and with the support of your MFP friends you'll hit that 111 again. Don't go for the faddy diets, just eat sensibly and get a little exercise if you can; persistence is key. And don't be a prisoner to the plan, if you fancy an extra slice of cake you have one; once occasionally isn't going to make a jot of difference.

We all go through hard times in our life, but I agree with mostly water. If you never leave, you don't have to come back. I hurt my back this fall, and I truly believe if I had stopped logging in every day, I would have blown up! I am back at it now, and feel happy that I am where I am at. Quit beating yourself up, and move forward. These lessons in life teach us where we don't want to be, so remember the feeling and kick some *kitten*! Feel free to add me if you like :)

I'm just pissed that My Fitness Pal refuses to recognize that a 1000 calorie diet plan can be perfectly acceptable. I like having the predictive weight loss but it doesn't give it to you if you eat under 1000 cal. I realize they probably do that so to avoid people with eating disorders. But there are a lot of people in the world that eat under 1000 cal and are perfectly healthy. I did not like that my fitness pal thinks that they know more than doctors

It's a legal liability thing. They're just covering their *kitten*.

I think the Happy Scale app can predict your future weight.
