Brand New, Eager but lazy to start

Hello everyone, reading my words. I hope these find you well, and possibly entertained. I just posted a blog, my first one here, my first one anywhere. I've never been into blogging much, but I do twitter and Facebook, so if I'm doing it wrong forgive me, ha ha. We all start somewhere.
Motivation was never my thing, neither have been tracking calories, weight, food, or exercise. So, basically everything here is new to me. I have basic goals in mind, that I am hoping will lead to a healthier, energetic, flat-tummy me! I plan to do simple focused area workouts, such as planks, lunges, crunches, core workouts. I eat a little different than most people, I suffer from IBS and it has it's own way with my body. I am hoping that working out and actually visibly seeing what I eat will help me gain control of that. I also want to lose that excess around my stomach, it's not too much, when I say that I mean it hasn't reached a level of disgust, but I plan to avoid that by slowly attacking at it, getting rid of it.
I ran out of things to say

You hit the nail on the head, Star Cass, for me anyway... I tend to be "lazy".. but don't like that word. Even if it's the truth. I've always tried to justify and change the wording to sound better like instead of "lazy", I call it "conserving energy" "MY" energy - LOL. But to get past the justifications and MAKE myself exercise and eat right, is so hard.. but we can do it. Hey, we CAN really do anything we put our mind to.. But sometimes it just seems that "my" mind isn't willing..:embarassed: But with each other's support, we can accomplish anything :)... So, Starcass... you CAN do it.. if you're on the computer right now and haven't done any activity for the past 2 hours (or more?), then stop what you're doing and just get up and do the twist, or other small exercise until you "start" to hurt .. I'll do the same. :)...

Oh! Hello everyone! I just figured out how to find my posts, I didn't think anyone responded! This is very exciting, I am hoping we can all motivate each other to do well and keep each other inspired. It's different, watching what I eat and actually taking an interest in it for once in my life. I hope we all do well on our journey together. I know, I said 'Journey', and it's so clichέ to use it, but I am begining to understand why just about evey one uses it when they start weight loss, eating right, exercising. It's a journey of several things but most of all a journey of bettering oneself. I'm not doing this for anyone but me, and I think that's where I need to concentrate on to find that motivation!

Conserving Energy. Yes, I would have to agree, I am big on that too! I did my first Ab Burner Work out last night using the Nike Training Club app, and I sweated, but I just didn't feel to satisfied with it. I thought I'd feel it a little more than what I am, but it was the first one so I need to be patient. Something else I don't have.
Doing little work outs during the day intrigues me! I don't mean walking around and doing lunges while walking, I know that will get a weird look or two, but little ones I can do in my office area to get my blood going again and a quick work out. Nothing strenuous, just something to tell my body, I am boss, and I am continuing my rein in office! I look forward to us motivating each other :D
