Does anyone know how many calories does the Total Body Machine at Planet Fitness burns?

From any description of it I saw on line, you're not using any more calories than if you were standing waiting for a bus.

I'd suggest skipping it and walking an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill to get better bang for your time at the gym.

    Best of luck.

Sounds like a waste of time. I would say next to nothing.

    None. Zero. Zilch.

red light therapy is good for skin especially people wit eczema, rosacea, fine lines, and some overall pain relief.

The device is literally a box which vibrates to help relax muscles and red lights which help your skin/keep you warm.

You won't be burning any more calories than laying in planet fitness' tanning beds.

Yep. They have their place though as I said. I only know because I joined a tanning salon so I could use one along with something called the hydration station which is a little pod that you get naked and lay in and your head is out but everything else is incapsulated. You can set the red lights on, it gets to 118 degrees and it steams you with a liquid of whatever you choose like aloe, vitamin e, etc.

Anyways it legitimately works for eczema, keratosis pilaris, will reduce or eliminate a rosacea flare up within a few hours(for me they can last days without it), and I think you can even synthesize vitamin d from it (not 100% on this but if I recall it does). But as far as I know people use this for skincare and it's not some magical weight loss thing. As mentioned planet fitness has tanning beds so maybe they offer it as a kind of bonus for post workout.

Thanks everyone! They tried to tell me it burns like 400 calories of you use it right! The lights did make my skin look better, but it felt as if I wasted my time in it!

Use the machines, get a good workout in but don't listen to a word they say.

I never understood that either. I go in, do my workout, use tanning or massage and leave.
