In need of some support :)

I've decided that I can't do this alone. I've tried and I have never succeeded. All of my friends are in shape so "dieting" with them has never worked very well, since they can "cheat" and not gain a pound. So here I am asked you all for help in my journey to become healthy. Of course I will give support as well, but I'm ready to feel good and healthy.

    Welcome and good luck. You need to educate yourself on healthy eatiing. Look online for healthy recipes and watch processed and fast foods. If you go out to dinner make sure you make healthy choices. You can always ask to modify any thing on the menu. I do it and they never seem to mind. Only you can make your choices we can't do it for you. If you educate yourself you won't need anyones help. Just don't make excuses. Don't think you are going to lose all the weight you want in a week or two. Take your time and do it right. Don't listen to anyone tell you not to have this or that. It is about moderation and portion control. As long as you have the numbers in your goals you can have treats. If you have a bad day don't worry about that either, we all have them. Just learn what works for you and what doesn't. It's like a puzzle. I have made it my new hobby. My health. Again good luck.

    Maybe instead of thinking of it has "dieting" think of it as eating healthy. I know that really helped me. Because when I think of being on a diet I end up eating more bad foods. But when I think of it as eating healthy I always end up making better choices.

    I am in need too. I think I purposely sabotage myself. Not sure why I do that. I convince myself I'm doing it correctly, but then when I step on the scale and nothing is happening I freak out. I need motivation to go to the gym that I pay 74 dollars a month and hardly ever go.
