Ask for some veggies (e.g. celery, carrots, a small salad) Eat only 1 slice and push away. Drink a bunch of water about 30 min before you eat. That might help. (I love Pizza too-It is hard to just eat a little). I also liked the idea of bringing your own dinner. IT will help drive your point home.

I agree you should say you don't want pizza as it's family! And if that doesn't work - go with the above - marvellous advice! You can do this!!

Bring a big ole salad and your fav dressing or toppings. Have a snack before you go, so you are less tempted to overeat. Tell them you have decided that pizza is just too hard on your body and refuse to eat it.

I have been in this position time and time again. I finally realized that nobody can force me to eat something I don't want to put in my body. I bring delicious and healthy alternatives and say "This was going to be my lunch today at work and I didn't want it to go to waste" That can help avoid hurt feelings or arguments.
