When it feels overwhelming, don't think about the long term. Think about every meal or every hour. Kind of like when you are running or walking. Think, I'll get to that mail box, that car, that tree...then you keep going. Focus on celebrating every hour of healthy choices - they add up. And, if you do have a bad choice, don't beat yourself up and don't turn one slip into a binge. You can do this!2

Make short term very attainable goals. It will feel like it is taking forever but one day you'll wake up and look in the mirror and be like wow where did that come from.2
