what are your weaknesses

When it comes to food and beverages my weaknesses are as follows : coffee,energy drinks,chocolate, and wine


I am going to challenge myself for a month... no coffee, no energy drinks, No wine..(or alcohol of any kind) .... chocolate ok I can't go a month, no way.... I have a husband and 2 kids i need something to calm me down LOL I will limit my chocolate intake though...

why am i doing this? 1: I want to say I can live without these things.. I don't need coffee or energy drinks to keep going.. 2: I want to see if i notice any changes in my body. will I lose those love handles will I find another way to keep energized throughout the day?Will I actually feel more energized without these added toxins.... I am excited to find out!

If anyone else wants to join me in this 30 challenge please feel free!!!

so to recap starting today I will have NO COFFEE,ENERGY DRINKS (caffeine of any sort) and NO ALCOHOL ... feel free to keep up with my 30day challenge by viewing my food diary... if you see me slipping.. call me out on it :-)

    I'll join you...I want to finally break the pop and chips habit. I have cut way way down but I want to be able to say that I am actually able to say away from them.

    My weaknesses are wine, cheese, and pizza. I don't intend on giving any of them up. :tongue:

    My weakness was diet soda! I never drank enough water because I always drank it instead... and caffeine is a diuretic so I'm sure I was very dehydrated all the time. I gave it up cold turkey for New Year's and it has been almost 6 months without it! I don't miss it at all... after you give it a week or so, I bet you won't either! Good luck!

    Cookies. I LOVE cookies. I keep none in the house for that reason.

    I'm in. No Coffee/soda, energy drinks, alcohol, or chocolate for a month. I have a weakness for chips/crunchy snacks, I am going to give up chips and go for carrots or a rice cake.

    Rice Krispy treats - especially the one that are pre-made in the box. If I have one, I gotta have 3+; and I can easily eat the entire box in a single day.

    So, it's best to keep them out of the house.

    Hmm..really, it's anything bad left around in the kitchen cupboards. My boyfriend always has loads of chocolate, biscuits (cookies I mean!) and crisps (potato chips) and it's so easy to grab them, I have to take them or leave them, I can't do the 'moderation' thing. I managed a whole day without touching any of it today so I can do it! I'm going to try and give up saccharin sweeteners in my tea too, artificial rubbish and I don't want the sweet taste in my mouth, it doesn't help with cravings. I've stopped with the white bread (could eat half a loaf with butter, easy, not that I ever did) and switched to my favourite wholegrain soya and linseed bread, for breakfast and/or lunch only. So nice to not have it stick to the roof of your mouth!

    I go through phases, if I don't touch the stuff, I don't think about it, but once I get on that slippery slope there's no stopping me!
