I'm working to achieve a 3 pound loss when I weigh in this time next week! What's your goal for the week!?

    Not to question or anything.. but your deficit is 1500 calories a day to loose that three pounds by this time next week? Oh no.. I am looking for merely .5 pound a week.. i have to eat or no exercise for me!

    It's unlikely you will lose three pounds in a week even with 1260 calories, but it's possible you still may see a 3 pound loss on the scale the next time you weigh in due to water weight loss.

    On a side note, 2 lbs of weight loss a week is the recommended maximum amount to lose in a week. MyFitnessPal won't let you set a 3 pound loss rate weekly.

    If that's you in your avatar, you look small, 3lb loss a week would only really be viable in people with a very high starting weight
