ran my first 5k

It was great to run a 5k. I have been wanting to run one. My niece talked me into it. The only thing is that it was during my all school reunion. I drank beer the night before. So i feel like i really didn't put everything into it. But im looking for another one. My time was not to bad. The same as when i ran during the week.

    Congrats!!! I just ran my first this spring but was running with an already hurting knee and had to limp more than half of it so my time wasn't so good, but I finished! And was on crutches for a week afterwards...:grumble:

    AWESOME! I run my first in September. My goal is not a time, but to not quit and actually jog the whole thing.
