Hey Moms,
How do you calculate your steps if carrying a baby.
Most of my walking is done with a 9.5 kg strapped to me. I must be burning more calories right? This app is linked to my Steps app.
I just don't know how to calculate it!

It's probably not very significant. Just log your steps.0

I wouldn't try to add the weight as it won't be significant, calorie-wise. Weighted carries and such are good exercise though so don't take it as us saying it's a bad thing to do activity-wise.0

MFP has a weighted walking selection for cardio, I believe it's 15lbs. It's a slightly higher burn than walking without weight.0

I walk with a 22lb. toddler, I haven't tried to figure out what the extra calories are.0
