I see alot of members cook food in advance for a few days or a week at a time. I want to start doing this but I was wondering how long some foods will keep in the fridge.
1. Cooked chicken
2. Cooked hamburger
3. Cooked steak
4. Cooked veggies
5. Cooked rice
6. Cooked beans
I want to batch cook every 3 days so cook on Sunday eat that food Monday and Tuesday then cook Wednesday eat that Thursday Friday and Saturday treat day and cooking days I'll just eat what I make for the next days.
Thanks

I keep cooked chicken in the fridge for a week, sometimes longer. It's fine. Hamburger - probably no longer than a week. Veggies a couple of days. I don't keep cooked rice - don't like it that much. Steak - same as hamburger I guess. You can certainly google this too.0

I batch cook but portion it to freeze. I'm really picky and weird about leftovers and don't get them more than 2 days. When I batch cook, I freeze the majority of it but leave a little bit in the fridge to eat the next day.0

Most cooked food lasts 1-2 weeks in the frig before going bad, sometimes longer. Most people won't admit it, but it's true.4

I agree with this. I have never had cooked food go bad in the fridge in less than 1 week, including veggies. You should expect the textures of some foods to be different when reheated, like veggies and rice.1 -
All those food mentioned will keep in the fridge for 3 days you plan on. I'm not keen on leaving them more than 4/5 days.
The only thing I would say is eat the steak day 1 or change up the choice of meat, personal preference but that's going to be one tough piece of meat and I wouldn't waste a good steak ha.1 -

Same. Instead of making just meat, I actually make one pot meals and freeze those in portions so I can heat and eat.0
