cardio or strength training?

Does anyone think strength training is best for fat loss and toning muscles for females. I hate intense cardio.
Have about 35-50lbs to lose.
Btw I know a little of each is good but would rather stick to lifting weights and doing toning workouts.

You need neither for fat loss. Strength training for muscle mass when fat is gone. Cardio for your heart.0

There is no such thing as toning. To reshape your body, you need to eat in a caloric deficit and weight train. You can loose weight, but it will not change your overall physique like weight training combined with proper nutrition.0

Circuit training! It's a mix of both and a great workout.2

strength train now if you enjoy it, you don't have to wait until your fat is gone to lift. diet to lose weight.1

So from Feburary 24 th through April 13th I have lost ten pounds . I meet with my Doctor again Next Wednesday 5-11.2016. Due to his being out of the office this week and my being sick on the 27th I had to reschedule to 5-11. Normally it is every two weeks for my wellness check in1
