Losing weight is all about your calorie deficit0

I was told it goes on both calorie diet and exercise together0

exercise does help. With mobility problems you can still do things.
Do you walk? Even with cane or walker? If so keep it up.
Chair exercises- google it-there are many programs
can you swim?
Do you bike? legs or hand cycle?
It can be an excuse-poor mobility-or you can figure out a way!0 -
if you burn more than you eat, you'll lose weight. you burn calories simply by being alive - breathing, watching TV, sleeping - they all burn calories.
i'm also restricted, and it does make a difference. when i was able to go for fast, hour-long walks i did lose faster. but i'm working out as i can, doing strength training that doesn't involve my knees and ankles, as well as working around several problem spots. that means i change angles or work on other adaptations, and it works. i also find using an exercise bike on its lowest resistance is something i can do for 20 minutes at a time without a problem.0
