How do you determine activity level for MFP?

I'm sedentary, I know that, but at what point do I become mildly active, or active? Is there a standard or definition?

I just left mine at sedentary, added my exercise minutes & manually halved the calories that MFP said the exercise had burned.
Then, the more you exercise, the more calories you have to burn and if you have a slower week or month, you don't have to adjust your daily calories (set to sedentary).
It all takes care of itself that way (or so I found for myself).

I completely agree with PaytraB. I put mine at sedentary and use a HRM to determine my calories exerted beyond that.0
