So I have a problem with binging. It happens every weekend, but it has never been this bad. And even with it happening every weekend, I have been making slow, but good progress.
On Friday afternoon I went from being my lowest weight (62.8kg) to being a weight I haven't seen since last year (68.5kg) on Sunday night. Usually I dont stress because it comes off so quickly. But I went so overboard this weekend. Three days of binging until Im physically sick.
Has anyone ever binged this bad? how long did it take to come off?
I feel like I've ruined all my progress, for real this time.

Hello - my name is Allspicenice and I also have a problem with binge control on the weekends. :-). It's so frustrating to allow the binge happen and then see that scale skyrocket up. However, all is not lost!
Fwiw - I have lost almost 90 lbs over 2 years, and kept it off for almost 1 year. This, after many years of unsuccessful yo-yo dieting. Here is how I deal with my bingeing issues:
1) when the urge to binge starts, really give it some thought. Am I really hungry! Or am I thirsty? Bored? Stressed? Eating out of habit? How will I feel tomorrow/Monday morning when I get on the scale after this binge? How does the food I'm about to eat fit with my long term health goals?
2) if you still start to overeat, LOG IT ALL. This has slowed me down in the past, once I started to see the calories add up. Not always though - lol. But at least I have accurate calorie/macro data to help understand how the binge will effect my weight/measurements afterward.
3) remember that some of the big weight gain after a binge is water weight from the extra carbs & sodium. Some/most will come off within the next week if you get back to your healthy eating plan.
4) Don't give up!!!!! every previous diet failure of mine began with giving up after a binge and quick weight gain like the one you describe above. GET BACK ON The wagon and keep going! You're worth it!1 -
I binge eat as well, last weekend I ate over 3000 cals in a space of a couple of hours. I logged everything (after)! And tried to as good as poss all week, did extract cling and managed to lose a pound ! When I start eating it's no use saying stop and think - it's like something takes over my body and I'll eat everything that isn't nailed down ! Even the dogs start looking worried x Good luck, just put it behind you and start again. Good luck
