Hi
I posted earlier today about my skin being really dry probably due to diet, and it was suggested that I try flaxseed. I've been to the shop and they had ground linseed, or a mix of linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds. I chose the latter, although I'm not sure if this is as good or not. I'm going to mix it in porridge oats in the morning, or into yoghurt... just wondered if anyone else uses/has used this. Also does it taste good?

It's going to have a wider range of nutrient value than linseed alone and another way I've eaten it is on toast with honey and banana.

I either put it in my yoghurt or muesli along with psyllium husks and chia seeds. You can also put it into smoothies. To be honest I don't notice the taste.

Try just getting more Omega 3s in general: raw walnuts and salmon as well as the seeds will get you there. You should see an improvement in your skin and your hair!

    Good luck!

LSA is really yummy in porridge - I mix it in when the oatmeal is cooked, then add chopped apple or banana. Delish!

Thanks I'll try those - I LOVE blueberries so was thinking I'll mix those in the porridge with LSA. Shame blueberries are out of season in NZ and so cost a small fortune!
