Losses and Gains to Celebrate!

This week was a big week because I hit the mark of losing 50 pounds. It's exciting to think about all the weight loss, but I also have been celebrating all the things I have gained in the process; like more joy, confidence, energy. I didn't do a before and after picture of myself this time because there are so many changes that you can't necessarily see in a picture. I have always liked who I am, but this journey, and knowing that I'm worth it, has changed the way I walk and carry myself. In a season like this it's so easy to just focus on the pounds lost, but it's so important to look more at the things unseen.

    way to go.

    I've lost 31 lbs and had to give up 2 of my favourite pairs of pants.

    I've gained the clothes from the back of the closest that fir now, more ease in being active, easier yoga moves, a faster walking rate, more ease on stairs,
    I've also inspired my mother wholost 5% of her body weight two years ago. She's now working on the next 5 % and on fitting into the pants I'm out of.

    Congratulations to both of you. I have accomplished 28 days of eating better and have lost 14 lbs. My next level goal is 20 lbs. My daughter has also been such a HUGE inspiration in supporting me.

    Ok where do I begin. First congrats to all of you on your successes! That is great! I lost 45 pounds. I now fit into a size 18 jeans was a 2X. My rings are waaaaaay looser now! My face has gone waaaaaay down compared to January of last year. I still got a very long road to handle but I'll get there one step at a time!
