Is MyFitnessPal be usable by pregnants?

Just wanted to know, I am to recommend this site to my pregnant friend. Who is so concious of her figure.

    Yeah, I think it is. You can up your calories and then up them more for pregnancy. It can also be used during breast feeding. I always go by the saying, "Pregnancy is NOT the time to diet" But, i do think pregnancy is the time to be healthy just like any other time. I would only use it to make sure I was getting my daily allowance (not for weight loss) and then the added amount, depending on how far along you are.

    Yes, set your calories for maintenance for the first trimester, for the second and third trimesters manually set your calories for 200-300 extra a day...those are the recommended additional calories for single pregnancies, multiples need up to 500 extra (quads and above and you'd be receiving specialist advice)

    Ah ok thanks, by the way just curious.. how many months did u manage to lose that 48lbs?
