So im really confused about how many calories I should be eating.
Im female, 19, 5'3 and 159lbs. I work out 6 days a week, 3 days doing Kayla Itsines BBG which is high intensity resistance training for about 30 mins, then the other 3 days is light intensity exercise such as a moderate bike ride for 35-45 mins. I was eating around 1500 calories AND eating back my exercise calories. However im now confused if i am eating too many or too little calories. I was planning on upping them to 1700 calories. So if i ate 1400 calories and then did a workout and burnt 300 calories do I then have 600 calories to eat or still 300? And is 1700 calories too high for me? hope that makes sense and someone can help

MFP is setup to eat back exercise calories.

Are you losing the weight you want? if yes you are eating enough...if no you are eating to many.

To your question...you have 600 calories to eat after the workout.
