Runner in training (again), logs daily

Hey everyone!
I took a break from MFP last year (my bad) and ended up gaining some of the weight back (20lbs or so) I worked so hard to lose. I also stopped running and detrained my daily 3-5 mile runs.
Now I'm back on here logging all of my food (with a scale for accuracy) along with getting back into running with the C25K program. On week 6 and feeling great!
I'm a 5'7" female currently at 133lbs with a goal weight of 125lbs.
I'm also wanting to run a half marathon next fall (2017) so going to be training for that, whee!
Eating ~1200 calories per day (more on heavier exercise days) but thinking about increasing to 1400 since I'm closer to goal.
I should be doing more strength training or get back into the BBG program, just hate feeling so sore on my run days.
No excuses anymore and laziness is no longer an option!
I'm a college student majoring in Health Education so I also want to set a good example.
MFP is a great resource for this so looking for like-minded friends!
My diary is open to friends and I'm all for motivating each other.
I'm also a fan of raising money for charity so if anyone wants to do a virtual run together, lemme know!
Cheers!

Hi amybugfit! Welcome!! I love seeing a goal of running a half!! Totally doable! I'm a runner as well. Just completed my first full marathon this year!!
Sorry I don't live up in Portland, I'm in Texas, otherwise I would suggest we can go run!0 -
I'm also a runner and my stats are very similar to yours. I'm 5.6 and weigh 138lbs and my goal is 125lbs. I'm back on MFP after a long break of not logging and now I want to lose the last pounds before summer. Feel free to add me.0

Your tall and at a good weight already imo - you could do with eating more like 1500 per day plus some exercise calories. Your body will thank you for the extra fuel
I'm only 5ft 2 and at maintenance 3+ years (range 128-133lbs) when I was in losing phase I ate 1800-1900 cals a day to lose 1/2lb a week. (I'm also a runner 5 days a week - 3 to 5 miles)0 -
I run 4 to 5 miles daily. I could use some like minded friends to trade advice with. My plan is to run a half this year. Feel free to add me.0
