Anyone else here that cannot live without cheese? I would eat it all day if I could.

How is effecting your diet? I still eat cheese as long as it fits into my calorie goal. I prefer Swiss, mozzerela, provolone and other cheeses that are "white" and are a little lower in calories than cheddar and colby.

Cheese is my favorite food. Like...ever. I love it. I still eat it, but I'm more careful about it. As long as it fits in my calories i'll eat it if its on the menu. I've lost 19 pounds in 3 months (150-131) so i wouldnt say its affecting my diet. as long as you eat it in moderation i dont think cheese is a bad thing

I too love cheese! I am trying to squeeze it in when I can and also prefer the "white" cheeses. I think swiss is the best option...(read that somewhere...) :)

OMG, I love cheese... I don't eat as much as I use to. I like to put blue cheese crumbles on my salad. But, I can't live without yellow and white sharp cheese.. Yummy!!!

I like cheese as much as you but really have to watch the intake. Cheese carries one of the highest fat contents, higher calories, and carbs so to much cheese will hurt you in reaching your goal. I substitute cottage cheese for regular cheese alot and look for the lower fat brands.

Last week I challenged myself to eat less cheese, and I was actually pretty successful at it too. My concern is the sodium. But then I started to do some research on cheese and how its made, and now I'm selecting cheeses made with vegetable or Microbial rennet, and that's all I have to say about that...

Yeah, gotta keep the cheese. I've been buying big blocks of cheddar, and cold-smoking them at home.

    Mmmmmm, homemade applewood-smoked cheddar

I love cheese of all kinds...but I used to put cheese on and in everything and sometimes you couldn't even really taste it, it just added tons of calories. I now save my cheese to eat by itself or with crackers or maybe on a salad...where I know I will be able to taste and enjoy every bite. For ex...I would always get cheese on my sandwich at Subway, but there are so many other flavors going on that if you loose the cheese you really don't even notice except in your waistline:)

I only like the white cheeses. Can't really do cheddar, can barely do colby jack and whatnot. I try to buy the cheese that's made with a lower fat milk, and just try to use less. Can't live without cheeeeezzzzee!

I love cheese. always have. until I started mfp, I was eating it way too often and way to much of it at a time. Now it is a treat, once every couple of weeks on my pizza or some bleu cheese or feta on a salad once in awhile. Other than that, I've given it up, and my cravings for it have completely gone! So have all my stomach problems, which is awesome! I actually enjoy it more now that I'm not eating it all the time, because I know what a treat it is!
