Hello , New here. I was going to have a corn on the cob large about 8 in. one said it was 80 calories and if weighed in grams the same is 245 calories. I weighed it in grams it was 300 grams. big difference.
I was looking at the how to weigh food and most say weigh in gr. it is more true #. I want to go with the 80 cal. Ha ha
Do most weigh your food in grams?

Weigh the corn on the cob and make a note of the weight. After you eat it, weigh the cob without the corn and subtract because obviously you won't eat the cob. The difference is what you should go by when figuring your calories. A nice app that makes it easy to figure your calories by grams with no calculating or finding the right amount is calorie king. You just search your food, go down to grams and enter the exact amount.3
