Nightshift effect on body

I do one week of nightshifts every couple of months and find that I don't loose any weight at all during that week, but as soon as I'm back on days is starts coming off again. Does anyone know why this might be? I eat exactly the same food but maybe it's the lack of sleep that's stopping the weight loss? I find this very frustrating!

I have the same schedule and things are always off the week that I'm nights. For me, it's definitely the sleep schedule. I just don't sleep as much when I'm nights and I sleep in shorter increments.0

I work nights every 3 weeks or so. I don't weigh in until I am done. Usually, I weigh myself as soon as I get up in the morning. When I'm on nights, if I weigh myself as soon as I get up in the afternoon, I weigh more than I would in the morning, even if I haven't eaten in the same amount of time. Just the way my body works.0
