Embarrassing but Turbo Lover by Judas Priest is my high interval jam. Hahah But my playlist is weird, Strut by Sheena Easton and BeeGees all on the same list.

I generally listen to classic rock/top 40 or country when doing cardio. When I'm lifting it's all metal/hard rock.

These are my high energy songs. I go twice as hard when they come on

~ Fight Fire With Fire / Metallica
    ~ NWO / Ministry
    ~ Thunderstruck / AC DC
~ Eye of the Tiger / Survivor

Japanese pop-metal band 'Babymetal' is always on my playlist lately. Highly recommended if you want something new and fresh!
Other than that, I go for fast beats when running and heavier music for lifting. Here are some of my favorites (big fan of Japanese music, fair warning!) :

    Running :
    ATB - "Twisted Love", "Emotion"
Babymetal - "Doki Doki Morning", "Awadama Fever", "Yava!"
    Bloc Party - "Banquet"
Nozomi Sasaki - "Kamu To Funyan"
Brooklyn Bounce - "Born To Bounce"
    Bush - "Future (Part Two)"
Sunfire Ltd. - "End Of Time (Sunset Mix)"
Scooter - "Riot", "Hello (Good To Be Back)", "Sugary Dip"

    Lifting :
Kill la Kill Soundtrack - "Before My Body Is Dry"
Utsu-P - "Fools Are Attracted To Anomaly"
    Van Halen - "Humans Being"
    Limp Bizkit - "Break Stuff"
Babymetal - "From Dusk Till Dawn", "Megitsune"
Bullet For My Valentine - "Waking The Demon"

Get the RockMyRun app. You can choose multiple genres at multiple bpms. Great for any exercise, not just running.

It depends - to me, a cardio playlist will sound a bit different than a weight-lifiting playlist.

I have a playlist I originally made for Zombies5K that I find helpful - I choose songs (besides their awesomeness) for their tempo and overall tone. My tastes run the gamut from techno to industrial to metal to Japanese to video game/anime soundtracks... so some might be a tad weird.

    Examples:

    *"High Life" - Daft Punk
    *"God Bless" - Combichrist
    *The Brainwasher" - Daft Punk
    *"Scissors" - D'espairsRay
    *"Bleed" - Meshuggah
    *"Everybody" - Backstreet Boys
    *"Hello B*tches" - CL
    *"Sweet Witches" - f(x)
*"Run!! (Remaster)" - Final Fantasy X Soundtrack
    *"HOT MUSIK" - Miura Daichi
*"Super Speedy Judy Jedy" - Capsule
    *"Voodoo Doll" - VIXX
