How often do you workout?

I am sure this has been discussed before. How often do you workout? Before I had a baby, I would do an hour a day. Now, I try to just squeeze in 30-35 minutes of a Jillian Michael's hiit type workout. It's very challenging with working full time as a teacher and my responsibilities as a mother to find time to exercise.

Just curious what has worked for you and you've seen results.

    Im a 3rd shifter with kids, youngest being almost 2 yrs old. I know how hard it is to fit time AND especially energy to workout. My absolute favorite workout is Jillian Michaels no more trouble zones. Ive been doing it 4-5 days a week since February and its transformed my butt and abs! Love and despise that woman. I also just recently bought a bike to add in fun, outdoor exercise. It reminded me how much I hate bugs in my mouth.

    5x/week - 30 minute runs on Monday and Friday, stationary bike Tuesday and Thursday, treadmill on hill setting Wednesday. M W F abs and core, T Th legs and glutes. Adding upper body workout on Saturdays soon.

    If all goes as planned for the week: 2x short run, 2x lifting, 6x some type of workout video (usually 40min-hour), 1 longer run. Plans change because of weather or out of town trips, but I almost always get something in. Summer will change it up a bit as short runs will be replaced by lap swim and no long runs because it is just too hot and humid for that. I might walk or do treadmill instead. Long runs will have to wait for fall!

    I started with 20min walks,
    moved to body weight squats and walks,
    moved to 30 Day shred x2,
    started lifting heavy and walking and biking...stopped smoking
    continued lifting heavy, walking, biking, running

    I workout 6 or 7 days a week.

    Lift 4x a week which only takes about 15-20mins
    my walks are either 2 or 3 or 5 miles
    Bike rides are 10 or 20 miles
    runs are 5ks last summer I did 3 a week.

    I work out during my lunch breaks or if I have to work through lunch I wake up an extra hour early and get it in. I have two young kids (3 and 5) and it's definitely a challenge. But even 30min here and there can make a big impact on your health and fitness!

    3 days a week I walk, approx 6 miles a week total. I workout in little strength circuits at home for about 20 minutes a day about twice a week.

    Pretty much every day. Some days are more intense than others. This is my typical schedule, but sometimes I switch it around based on my mood or my energy level.

    Monday: Cardio - Elliptical steady-state for 45 minutes
    Tuesday: Total Body Lifting for 40 minutes + Yoga for Athletes for 60 minutes
    Wednesday: Cardio - Cybex ArcTrainer HIIT workout for 30-35 minutes
    Thursday: Total Body Lifting for 40 minutes + Yoga for Athletes for 60 minutes
    Friday: Cardio - Stationary Cycle for 60 minutes
    Weekends - I go hiking/backpacking often - so I might go 20 miles in a day. When I don't hike, I try to get in another day of lifting, another day of some kind of cardio, and another hour of yoga.

    Alternate 50 min workouts (usually Spartacus routines) & 5 mile runs.

    I like it because your off days are always changing, instead of always having Sundays off or something.

    Lift 5-6x week and HIIT or steady cardio 1-2x. I tend to go with how my body feels; if I need rest, I rest.

    I run 4 days a week (4-10+ miles)
    I strength train 3 days a week.
    I get up and run or ST before work. One run is during a child's practice. Long runs I get up and do early Saturday morning. I have found as a parent sleep time and sport practices are my working out savor.

    About 6 days a week!

    MWF I use the elliptical for about 30 minutes and then workout with my trainer at work, who tends to use Crossfit-inspired workouts.

    TuThSa I go running after work (this is a relatively new thing - normally I'd have school Tues and Thurs).

    Sunday is likely going to continue being my rest day unless I'm positively clawing at the walls to go out and do something.

    I work a desk job 40 hours a week with a 35-45 minute commute each way. I get in at least an hour workout 6 days a week, but still get 10k steps in however I can on my "rest" day.

    Generally six days per week. I spend about an hour per day on my bike during the work week and do a longer ride on the weekend and I lift 3x per week which takes me about 60 minutes at a pop. I'd say on average I spend about 6 hours on the bike and 3 hours in the weight room.

    When my second two were tiny, and I was working, I found 5:30AM M-F Jazzercise classes in town :) That saved me. So I did an hour a day, M-Sat.

    Now they are bigger, and my oldest isn't working so she cooks dinner for us, I do this:
    Monday 6am yoga
    Tuesday 5:30AM run, 7pm yoga
    Wednesday 6am yoga
    Thursday 5:30AM run, 7pm yoga
    Friday 5:30AM run, 6pm yoga
    Saturday either rest or short weightlifting session
    Sunday always rest.

    M-F every week at 4:00 am. I have no excuses at that time of day.
    I run M/W/F and strength train T/TH, usually with a DVD at home. I have a membership to the YMCA and sometimes throw in a Pound or Spin class.
