In need of some encouragement

Hey y'all, I've recently recovered from an autoimmune disease (during which I gained 25 lbs). It's been really hard for me to see my body get so much bigger, and it's even harder to stop all of my bad habits I could keep up when I was 25 lbs lighter. I would love some words of wisdom on how to get through it, y'all are amazing!

It's hard to watch and feel your weight go up, but wait until you feel it going down! So worth it. Stick with it at least long enough to lose a few and then it gets motivating in itself. All the best!2

Hi there! Well done for recovering, that's fab! Just start with baby steps, you can do it. Feel free to add me as a friend on here. I'm currently on a roll with logging in to MFP: 50 day streak! So am usually around for mutual support.1
