One of my friends told me about this website. Sooooooo I thought I would try it out before I pay money for weight watchers. Hope this works! I know I will definitely need self discipline!

Welcom, Newb.
The best thing about this site is the ability to budget your calories. You can stick with recipes/foods that you enjoy. However, if you tend to eat a lot of processed food, get a Weight Watchers cookbook. I have one and it helped me learn to eat more of the nutritious stuff. Also, be sure to read the post for new members. It has lots of useful information. My favorite bit of info is to always eat your calories back after factoring in your exercise. Sometimes you won't be able to eat it all, but that's okay as long as you are getting enough nutrition most days.
Good luck. I think you will enjoy this site. I find it helpful to pre-log my meals/exercises for the day. It helps me stick with it better than logging as I go.0 -
It just takes a little more work on your part. My advice is educate yourself on healthy eating. Buy a food scale and watch portions. Limit processed and fast foods. Cook fresh Veggies and Meats. Eat whole grain Low carb Low Cal Breads and Pasta. Fresh Fruits. Did I say watch Portions. In the beginning it will be hard to get over cravings. But if you stick with it you will. Don't drink your calories. Did I say watch portions. Oh and watch portions.0

Welcome! You'll get out of this exactly what you put into it. Just remember to be honest with yourself when recording what you eat. That's the only way you'll make progress. And definitely eat back most of your workout calories. It seems illogical, but it makes perfect sense, plus it gives you extra incentive to work out harder! If you have ANY questions, you know how to get in touch with me :-)
P.S. Great shirt!0
