Recommend a diet soda that doesn't taste like diet?

Coke Zero is my favourite, but I'd like to branch out into others. Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale was great until they changed the recipe, now it tastes like a diet soda. Giving Diet Mountain Dew a try now...tastes like diet.

The two I like best are Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet A&W Root Beer.

I'm partial to the Hansen's brand for diet ginger ale, and their cherry vanilla creme is pretty dang good too. A&W diet root beer is my favorite, but I'll drink them all. Diet Cherry 7Up is a disturbingly large part of my liquid consumption.

Coke Zero is the only form of cola that doesn't taste diet to me. The "10" line from Dr. Pepper is good, but if you're drinking a buttload of it the calories can add up.

I haven't found anything that tastes 100% like "the real thing" and I mostly gave up on sodas, including diet ones, but I find that most kinds of root beer and orange sodas are the closest in my opinion. Or "light" lemonade if I want a sweet drink but not necessarily soda. My real favorite is the sparkling water that has just an essence of fruit (but no sweetness).

Couldn't tell ya. It's been over 40 years since I've had a "real" soda!

Another vote for Diet Dr. Pepper.

Diet Cranberry Sierra Mist is also awesome, but it's seasonal.

I with they'd bring back Diet Pepsi with Lime.

I, too, have been on the diet bandwagon so long, the sugar sodas taste weird. So I can't help you. I'm a diet Pepsi fan.

Ummm...all soda is bad for you, but diet is the worst. All the artificial crap in there is going to give you cancer. Why not try infused homemade water or something that has some benefits?
