Has anyone tried Atkins, I'm curious on how it works and success stories. I haven't tried it but wanted to get info on it...thanks!

It works by eating fewer calories than you burn - just like any other successful weightloss method done correctly.

You don't need to track calories - just cut out processed carbs and make sure you're getting green leafy stuff and other veggies. No fruit or fruit juices. You can probably find a used copy of the book pretty cheap.

Any diet works as long as you stick to your calories.
Agree with cut out processed junk - sure makes things easier since eating veggies really fills you up.

I have, but I was young and shouldn't have because it wasn't sustainable to me. I kept under my calories and lost weight. I've also lost weight on ww (simultaneously calorie counting) and just plain old calorie counting.

    See a trend here? :)

I like to eat mostly low carb, but that's just because it gives me more bang for my buck and I love to eat copious amounts of non-starchy vegetables in everything. Plus, I blood tested positive for celiac (biopsy was negative) but grains give me issues.
