Once again I will tell you to set your goal to "Lose 1/2 pound per week." Use the numbers that the site gives you.

1500 calories for a 25 year old man is not enough.

I am way older, female, not working, and I eat a lot more than that.

This isn't a debate topic, so you are in the wrong forum.

Are you trying to lose weight? Gain weight? Maintain? Have you read any of the forum's threads or sticky threads?

No one can answer you with the amount of information you are providing.

Give us your age, weight, height, goals, what do you do on a daily basis for work, what kind of exercise are you doing? (Do you want to lose? gain?) Open your Food Diary so we can look at your logging. Tell us what you've been doing and why you feel a need to compare? Everyone is different - a 25 year old man who is taller and more active will need more, a 25 year old man who is short and sedentary will need less. 1500 is a very small number and honestly almost no one (male) should be eating that little. Tell us why you feel you should.

So, why don't you set your goals to lose 1pound (1/2 kg) per week.

I would imagine you would be given 1900-2200 calories to eat. EAT THAT. Log all your food for a month. (Your Food Diary is still not open to the public - it's in "settings" under the food tab.) Try to get some exercise, that will give you more calories.

If you don't lose 1/2 kg a week, come back and ask again next month.

You haven't even given it time.

A 1kg loss per week is too aggressive for you at your weight - like I've said a couple times.

    Good luck.

    I mean, here's the problem. . .

We are all different. You are asking a question that is not answerable. Wanting to get other peopIes' data is not going to help YOU with your goals. I have given you the same generic "advice" several times and you are not willing to accept my answer, and no one else is answering because it is an unanswerable question!!!

Don't know that it will help you because everyone is different, but here are my stats:

    Female
    Age-35
    Current weight-144 lbs
    Height-5' 7"
    Target weight -138-145 lbs
Lightly active (stay at home mom of 4 kids)

Some (inconsistent) exercise - moderate intensity cardio (20 min) plus lifting as heavy as I can (which isn't very heavy, lol, yet; about 30 min) - maybe 2-3 times per week

Maintenance calories -1930, plus I allow myself an additional 300 per day because I am nursing my youngest child (9 months old), so I maintain on 2230 kcal per day.

Trying to decide whether to drop a little more weight, or to try to build muscle at this point. My trouble is, I know I can't get to the gym often enough or consistently enough to do much other than spin my wheels.
