It's been a year.

It's been a year since I had my son. I can no longer use the excuse I just had a baby lol. I've lost 30 pounds in a year but need to loose atleat 80 more pounds! I look at those 80 pounds and think to myself it seems impossible to loose. I have failed so many times. But I have decided to try again. So here I am, feel free to add me. I could use the support.

My boys were 11 and 8 before I stopped using baby fat as an excuse. Way to choose to do something about it now rather than keep making excuses.

MFP helped me lose 70 pounds and keep it off. I found it helpful not to look at all that weight as a single goal. Instead, I focused on 10 pound increments. That made it seem much less daunting. I started MFP at 207 pounds (I think), and my first goal was 200. When I hit 200 pounds I got to celebrate reaching that first goal, and the new goal was 190 pounds. I kept that up until I hit 130 pounds. You CAN do this. :flowerforyou:

I'll send an invite. Just remember to focus on one day at a time. Trust me those days will add up!

Hiya... My son just turned a year last month! I am finally trying to get my life and self back too!! We can do this. We had kids right?? I figure it's the only thing in my life that I can actually control. So I'm stopping letting all the other things I can't control win and start to take control of me!!! Let's do it. Good luck. Here anytime!

My little one is 1.5. A few months ago I started my journey. Down 35lbs...17lbs more to go before I see if need to lose more. Feel free to add me! I always love having mommy friends for extra motivation and support

First, congrats on the baby, second, welcome and C. don't look at the 80 lbs as a whole. Just one day at a time, keep pushing forward and one day you will stop and go "woah, I lost 80 lbs" Best wishes on your journey!
