difficulty eating right tomorrow

I'm usually at home most of the time, so eating right isn't usually hard, but I'm going to be stuck at the mall all day tomorrow with nothing but fast food optionsfor lunch. I need some advice that's better than just not eating until I get home in the evening. Should I just carry some almonds and protein bars with me since that would at least be better than McDonald's?

Chic Fil A grilled chicken, Wendy's grilled chicken, side salads with either a low fat, or vinegary dressing (less calories usually-not always- than things like ranch). Stay away from breaded, and fried. Even the veggies at Chinese places are possibly cooked in a good amount of oil.
At best, make the best choices you can, and don't stress about one day.1 -
Do a bit of research before hand for safer options that would be available to you.
Today I got a sugar free French vanilla iced coffee from McDonald's. Calories weren't bad and it was tasty.0 -
a singel cheese burger no fries no bun and unsweet tea or a salad no dressing0

Most of the food court food is chain food, which means they have nutritional information available. Look it up, plan ahead and stick with your plan.1

Honestly, one day isn't going to ruin you if you don't eat optimally. Of course you should try to, but don't get obsessive over one day
. Bring an apple and a banana with you if you don't have time to cook.

This. Just browse the restaurant's websites ahead of time (the mall's website will list the restaurants available).0 -

So basically you're suggesting eating a single patty of beef with cheese on it?
Most places have reasonable options. Is there a Subway in the food court? A place with sandwiches or salads? You could do anything really. Check out the menu and pick reasonable options. Having one day of going over or one day of "bad fast food" isn't going to stall your progress. It will be okay.

Pack a lunch and eat it in the food court. Just because you are in a mall all day doesn't mean you have to eat out if you really don't want to.1

What do you normally eat for lunch at home? Even things that "need" refrigeration will be fine for a few hours without, so I'd vote for taking food with you. Yogurt, raw veggies, PB sandwich on whole grain bread, fruit, nuts, cheese, etc. If you don't want to carry lunch, you can probably purchase a container of low fat yogurt in a drug store (bring a plastic spoon from home). If not, look for kids' meals, since the portion will be smaller and they usually have some healthy options.0
