How often does MFP change the calories to consume in a day, I guess maybe the question would be at how many pounds up or down does MFP make a change?

This is done automatically right? Or do we need to make the change ourselves? Thank you!

I have had to go in a change my goal each time, the closer I get to goal. Even though my weight is updated each time, I still have to update the goal. I check it every two pounds at this point and each time my calorie allotment decreases by 10. I just exercise more! :p

You need to manually change it. This is done in the Settings section where you tell it how fast you want to gain/lose weight.

From a computer web browser, go to Settings > Update diet/fitness profile.
For Android phones, go into the Menu > Goals > and change the Weekly Goal (click Yes to confirm, change your goal if needed, or just click 'Set' at the bottom)
For Apple Devices, it's probably /similar/ to the Android, but I can't give exact directions.

    Good luck!

Not automatic. Re-run goals. Should be prompted every 10 lbs of weight loss.
