Blew my diet yesterday, we went to eat at the Cracker Barrel.

    One thing that helps me is to remember that this isn't a diet but a life style...this helps me to go out and eat and places like this on occasion and either figure out what I can eat or eat knowing that tomorrow I have to get moving to balance it out.

    No blowing it here...just integration of a new way of living!

    So did I. It's been a tough week for me. But I weighed in this morning in the 180s (just barely) for the first time in YEARS. Hard to believe I started this journey 6 months ago at 235 lbs.! I'm fewer than 5 lbs. from my halfway point!

    Self-sabotage had its day. Now it's back to the good stuff. Join me?

    There is no such thing as blowing it. Nothing wrong with Cracker Barrel unless you're doing it every other night. I think the lifestyle change is just really AWARENESS. Nothing wrong with Chicken and Dumplings as long as you are aware what you are putting in your body and you limit how often you do it.

    Yep, folks, and not giving up Fried pickles, hot wings, nor beer....lol
