I don't know what it is about carbs that drives me nuts! I love my wheat breads, wheat tortilla, my spaghetti, my pasta anything, you name it! I don't care much for meat (i do eat it like 2x or 3x a week) but I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do, because I'm still a bit heavy. I can never do a no carb challenge! It'll gut me! Hmm maybe a low carb! Please any suggestions or advice. Thanks.

Why do you think you need to go low carb? Do you have a medical reason to restrict them? Many people here, myself incvluded, have lost weight and achieved our goals without going low carb.

No medical reason, I've always thought carbs were bad and have been the problem in my weight gain! I'm no expert, so that's why I ask. Omg you put a smile on my face, it's been tormenting to think carbs is a problem. Thanks for the feedback.

If you were 15+ years older, it would be fat that you would think was bad. The only thing that you need to cut to lose weight is calories.

Eat moderate amounts of food as part of a balanced diet so that you consume fewer calories than your body uses and you'll lose weight.

IMO, the easiest and most sustainable thing to do is to stick as close to your normal way of eating as you can while losing weight. Reduce some portion sizes and substitute some things you like (but may have more calories than you want to use) with other things that you also like.

What matters for weight loss is that you are in a calorie deficit? Low carb is one way to achieve that but not required and for many people, not sustainable...
