I need some creative ways to make tuna tasty. I want to add it to my lunch rotation!

Is there a reason you want to eat tuna when you don't like it? With the levels of mercury in most canned tuna, experts tend to recommend only eating it once or twice a week. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mroussell5.htm this article elaborates..admittedly I am not an expert, but I frikkin love tuna and still heavily restrict my consumption because I basically trust the CDC knows what it's doing.3

For me I add hard boiled eggs to my tuna salad as well as adding dell pickel reish, onion an d mustard and walden farm mayo2

I am doing this tomorrow. I never even thought of combining eggs and tuna and I boiled eggs today. Thanks. @Ashtoretet Yes, it sucks, I usually eat some every couple weeks at the most. I love it too.1 -
The taste of albacore is better than tuna. I like to add relish, mayo, hard boiled eggs, onion and celery.4

I've never cared for tuna but this actually sounds pretty good, going to give it a try0 -
pickles and hot sauce, salt and pepper, jalepenos too ( I like spicy)

i dont like tuna so i dont eat tuna. I like what i like so i eat it. no reason to eat food u dont like.3

I need some creative ways to make tuna tasty. I want to add it to my lunch rotation!
Just get you a few cans of Jack Mackerel and eat them all over time. After that the cheapest tuna will taste great right out of the can I expect. I grew up eating Jack Mackerel and now it gags me but tuna is fine. I keep in at home, office and car packed in virgin olive oil in a pop top can since I eat it straight from the can.1 -
You can also get flavoured cans of tuna. I like Cloverleaf Lemon Pepper. About 120 calories, and about 18g protein.1

Not to be contrary, but albacore is tuna. It does have a less fishy taste than other tuna. I like it better, though.

I need some creative ways to make tuna tasty. I want to add it to my lunch rotation!
This is simple I buy tuna steaks that are usually proportioned into 4-6oz packages. I thaw season with sea salt and pepper cook in pan with olive oil..cook to mud rare and enjoy. I make this for lunch several times a week. 6 oz tuna is high in protein and very low cal..1 steak is between 100-150 cals.2 -
I buy flavored tuna pouches. They have a lot of different flavors now.1

i add pepper, celery, and about a tablespoon each of sweet chili sauce and balsamic vinagrette to a can of tuna. i think it tastes pretty good, but I like tuna....1

Unlike some previous posters, I very much prefer solid light tuna to albacore - it is also less contaminated than albacore, estimated to have half as much mercury on average. The texture is better and if I want something that doesn't taste like fish, I eat something that's not fish, I don't like the tasteless fishes.
I like it mixed into one of the packaged Asian salad mixes - the sort of coleslaw stuff with sesame dressing and almonds or wonton strips. If i do it at home I use coleslaw or broccoli slaw and Asian Sesame salad dressing.1 -

Me too. I eat it plain all the time, but sometimes I mix in whipped cream cheese with chives.
I hated canned salmon growing up, and can not stomach any salmon even today. I have tried to like it, but no matter how it is prepared I can't eat it, and there are too many delicious foods to eat to waste calories on something you do not like.

I "third" this. I mix it with diced carrot, celery, cornichon, pickled jalapeno, mustard, and sometimes EVOO and S&P. I like this on Wasa crackers. Well, really, I like this on some type of delicious bakery bread or roll (even a crusty baguette) but Wasa crackers will do0 -

I frequently make some sort of vegetable and tuna bowl. I usually opt to roast the (canned) tuna and vegetables For example, i make one with mushrooms, tomato, carrots, broccoli, onion, and tuna-- all roasted in spices and garlic verde salsa. I switch out the vegetables and sometimes i add things like rice or a different salsa or sauce. I like A LOT of vegetables, so that combined with the protein makes it a fairly filling meal.1

I add a can of tuna to mixed greens, then throw on some roasted red pepper, kalmata olives, goat cheese, and some sweet peppers. A little garlic lemon dressing and a great salad is done!1
