Lost 55lbs/health benefit

I have a liver disease & doc said to lose weight or get cirrhosis. After I lost this weight my blood test showed that my liver is now functioning normally. The only thing I did was restrict my calories and walk everyday. It took 7 months to lose 55lbs.
