I drink a lot of water, but my favorite sweet treat is a whole grain low fat waffle with reduced fat peanut butter and 1/2 tbsp. of mini chocolate chips. It cures the sweet craving. Sometimes I top it off with two crushed pretzel twists. sounds bad I am sure, but it helps!
I usually just eat a very small portion of what I'm craving...usually peanut butter!!0 -
I drink tons of water or green or white teas with a fruit flavor infused (Pomegranate White Tea is my personal favorite). If that doesn't work I always keep the individually wrapped chocolate truffles in my freezer and just grab one or two, but never going over the serving size.
I'm much more likely to get the salt cravings, when that happens I go straight for kalamata olives, they are relatively low in calories (about 10 calories per olive) and I know I can't eat too many of them before I hit the salt overload point. The key is to just keep everything in moderation.
If nothing helps I get out of the house and go for a walk or a run.0
