Legitimate vegetable desserts

So, someone posted a recipe for cauliflower donuts and it got me thinking. There must be some truly indulgent vegetable desserts, right? We make cake out of carrots and bread from zucchini so why can't we make other creations that really work? Anyone with truly indulgent creations?

My favorite is: http://minimalistbaker.com/vegan-gluten-free-black-bean-brownies/ but I replace the sugar with either Splenda or sugar-free pancake syrup. Also, you can use flax seed "eggs" or regular hen's eggs if you don't care if the brownies are vegan.

There are beetroot chocolate cakes (I don't have a specific recipe, but google is always our friend), and I know I've seen a recipe somewhere for a cookie-pie that used white beans as the main filler.
