1-2 pounds per week is the healthiest amount.0

Generally 1- 2 pounds per week is safe. At first it is not unusual to lose 4 or more in the first 2 - 3 weeks, but after that it slows down if you are doing it correctly. You will reach a plateau and will need to make some changes - either in diet or exercise - to recharge yourself and keep losing. Be slow about it and it will stay off once it comes off!0

A lot of that depends on how much weight the person has to lose. For me, I want to lose 42 lbs. After the initial "water" weight loss, I've been losing on average 1-2 lbs per week.0

I lost 10 lbs. in the first 2 weeks...then I have been losing 1 - 2 lbs. per week since....0

I think it is different for everyone. It depends on how much they weigh, exercise, and calories. I personally lost around 15lbs in the first 3 weeks and then about 1 1/2 to 2lbs a week. Then my weight stalled....no weight loss...just last week I lost 1.6lbs making my total 20.6 lost since 5/3/11. 1-2 lbs a week is healthy!0

ballpark around 2.5-3 lbs per week, but that is slowing (after 2 months) to about 2 lbs per week.
Everyone will tell you 1-2 lbs per week is "healthiest" but everyone is different. If you feel good (not tired, lethargic, or feeling sickly even with exercise) and are losing, that's good0 -

I don't think 30 lbs in 3 months is unreasonable. It'll be hard work though. Just do your best0 -
thanks elizabeth for the encouragement!!!0
